Our patient came to us with a mobile tooth and pus drawing from the gums attached to the tooth. (IOPAR) x-ray revealed that there was a severe bone loss associated with tooth, which lead to mobility or shaking tooth. But luckily, out of two roots that a molar had, one still had good bone support.
We decided to save the tooth. We performed RCT on the tooth had then surgically removed only that root that faced the severe bone loss. The patient was put on medication and he recovered wonderfully. X-ray after a few months showed a recovering bone and a healthy remaining tooth!!
